How to serve by age

9โ€“12 months

Frozen pieces can be hard for new eaters. Serve the fruity yogurt mixture unfrozen on a preloaded spoon, or let a piece thaw until it's soft.

12โ€“24 months

Let pieces soften for 3โ€“5 minutes so they're easy to bite. Stay close while your toddler eats.

2โ€“3 years

Serve after a 2-minute rest. A cool, fruity snack on hot days.

Allergy & diet swaps

๐ŸŒพ Gluten-free: Gluten-free as written. Use plain yogurt with no add-ins and pure vanilla extract, and check both labels (they're usually gluten-free, but brands vary).

Dairy-free
Use a thick, plain unsweetened coconut or soy yogurt.
Banana-free
Stir in 2 tbsp mashed ripe mango or pear instead of banana.
Other fruit
Use finely diced kiwi, raspberries or peaches. Avoid whole round berries.

Tips

  • Let pieces sit for a couple of minutes so they're not too hard for little teeth.
  • Swirl in a spoon of mashed raspberries for a marbled pink look.
  • Store between layers of parchment so the pieces don't stick.

Storage & safety

Storage: Freezer: up to 1 month in an airtight container.

Suggested age: 12 months+. Every child is different โ€” serve textures and sizes that match your toddler's chewing skills.

Always seat your toddler upright and stay close while they eat. Cut round foods into small pieces and spread nut butters thinly. Read our toddler food safety guide for more.

Yes, many toddlers find cold foods soothing on sore gums. Let pieces soften a little so they're easy to bite, and stay close while they eat.
